Refund policy

1. Rental returns

Return shipping is free for every rental. A prepaid return label is included in your parcel. Attach it to the box and hand it in at any Swiss Post office by the return date shown in your order confirmation.

The rental fee covers the agreed rental period. If the equipment has not been handed to Swiss Post within 2 days after the end of the rental period, the rental is automatically extended in accordance with our Terms of Service and the applicable rate is charged.

2. Cancelling or moving a rental (single devices)

  • Before dispatch: cancellation or rebooking is free of charge, and you receive a full refund.
  • After dispatch: the rental fee for the booked period remains due. Returning the equipment early does not reduce the fee.

3. Cancelling or moving an event package (VR Corner, 4–50 headsets)

  • 15 days or more before the delivery date: free cancellation, full refund.
  • 14 to 4 days before the delivery date: 50% of the package price is due.
  • 3 days or less before the delivery date: 100% of the package price is due.
  • One free date change is possible up to 7 days before delivery, subject to availability.
  • On-site staff and travel can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the event.

4. Faulty or damaged equipment on arrival

If equipment arrives faulty or damaged, contact us immediately at info@vrent.ch. We will replace it as quickly as possible at no cost, or refund the rental in full.

5. Purchases

For items you purchase (rather than rent), we accept returns of unused items in their original packaging within 14 days of delivery. The refund is issued after inspection; return shipping for purchases is at the buyer's cost.

6. VRENT Club memberships

Memberships can be cancelled to the end of the minimum term, and afterwards monthly with 30 days' notice. Fees for periods that have already started are not refunded.

7. How refunds are processed

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of confirmation.
