What it means

VR gives storytellers a medium where the audience is inside the frame. Museums and galleries use it to make the distant or the fragile tangible; filmmakers and artists use it to place you somewhere you could never physically stand.

For a museum, VR solves the unshowable: the reconstructed temple, the artist's studio in 1900, the seabed. Visitors don't read about it — they stand in it, and they tell people afterwards. For festivals and galleries, 360° film and interactive installations are a draw in themselves, with queues as the proof.

Where it's used

🖼️

Immersive exhibits

Let visitors walk through a reconstructed site, a painting, or a historical moment — a draw that gets talked about and shared.

🎥

360° film

Documentary and narrative work where the viewer looks around a real, filmed scene.

🌀

Art installations

Interactive spatial pieces that respond to movement and turn a room into an artwork.

Why VR works here

  • Show the distant, fragile or vanished
  • Visitors remember standing there — and talk about it
  • Fleet + staffing handled, queues kept moving
  • We can film your own 360° content

How it goes in practice

1

Plan the exhibit

Content, visitor flow, headset count — we scope it together.

2

We install and staff it

Hygiene, briefing, rotation: our team keeps it flowing.

3

Measure and adjust

Visitor numbers and dwell time tell us what to tune.

How VRENT helps

We rent every headset this needs — Meta Quest 3, Quest 3S and Quest 2 — pre-installed with the right apps, delivered and set up anywhere in Switzerland. Most people start with a one-week pilot before committing to anything.
