What it means
Some situations are too dangerous, expensive or rare to practise for real. VR lets people make mistakes in a fire, a chemical spill or an evacuation with no consequences, and repeat until the right response is automatic.
You can't set the office on fire for practice — in VR you can, weekly. Trainees make the wrong call, watch the consequence, and repeat until the right response is muscle memory. The scenarios that are too dangerous, expensive or rare to stage are exactly the ones VR trains best.
