Renting for an event or a class?
Take the Quest 3S. It's as fast as the Quest 3, and nobody in a twenty-minute session notices the lens difference. The money is better spent on more headsets.
Showing something to a client?
Take the Quest 3. If the picture is the pitch — a building, a product, a space — the sharper display earns its CHF 20.
Just curious what VR is like?
Take the Quest 2. It's cheap, it plays everything, and it will tell you within an hour whether you like VR at all.
